La Fonda was honored to have been featured on the Travel Channel's highly successful show, Man v. Food...a show that celebrates BIG helpings and INTENSE flavors in food across the country.
Jorge Ayala joined the show's host, Adam Richman, as he prepared a jumbo-sized version of La Fonda's classic Mofongo de pernil (mashed plantain stuffed with roast pork) which he dubbed, 'EL MOFONGAZO!'.
It was all part of a Man v. Food episode shot on location right here in East Harlem and Harlem proper. We hope you enjoy the show, and look forward to bringing El Mofongazo soon to our customers!
